DivxLand.org introduced its very first product, which is an application that calculates the bit rates of video and audio files. Whenever video encoding is required for files of specific targets, this software is used.
This software comes with very bright features. It is found to be highly compatible with all the codec versions of DivX and XviD. It supports WMA, WAV, AC3 and variable and constant bit rate of MP3 files. The user interface is very attractive, and modern. The application is freeware and it supports multiple languages. Whatever features are present in ‘Web BitCalc’ are also available in this version of the software. Along with that, it also performs queries on the size of the audio stream by opening audio files.
For running this software one needs any version of Windows like XP, NT, 2000, 95, 98, etc., along with VB6 runtime libraries. The MP3 audio should be minimum 112 Kbps along with a constant bit rate. The video bit rates should not be lower than 700 Kbps. The video resolution varies, however standard resolution is 640x480. The user should download the DivX total pack for supporting playbacks for many formats like OGG, XviD, Mastroka and DivX.
- Its user interface is very simple
- The system must have VB6 runtime libraries
